Lychee is the independent studio of Sujen and Dylan.

Hey! We’re Lychee, a web design and development studio run by Sujen and Dylan, both in Auckland now.

We design and build websites for businesses around New Zealand, from structure and visual design through to motion, 3D and interaction. The kind of detail that makes a page feel like a place.

We care about the details people feel more than notice: how a page moves, how quickly it responds, and whether the finished thing still feels like the brand behind it.

Staying small is the point, not a stage we’re trying to grow out of. It keeps the distance between an idea and the finished site as short as possible, and means we can turn down work that wouldn’t be ours to do well.

When a project needs something outside that — copy from scratch, photography, a specialist integration — we bring in people we trust rather than pretending to do everything ourselves.

When we’re not at our desks we’re hunting for good bakeries, baking cookies (we mostly give them away), or on a frisbee field somewhere.
