Where We Fit
We’re not the right answer for every project. We’ve written an honest read of the four ways to get a website built — doing it yourself, a budget freelancer, a large agency, or a small studio — including who each one is genuinely right for.
Freelancer vs agency vs studioOur Commonly Asked Questions
Yes. We agree the scope and price before we start.
If you decide to add something outside that scope later, we’ll price it separately and get your approval before building it. No surprise invoice at the end.
Refinement is unlimited within the scope and direction we agreed. Layout, spacing, colour, imagery, wording — we keep adjusting until it feels right, however many rounds that takes.
What sits outside that is new work, not refinement: extra pages, a different structure, added functionality, or starting again on a direction you’d already signed off. We’ll say so at the time, price it separately, and only build it once you’ve approved it.
Your logo and brand assets, the content you want on the site, and any photography or imagery you’d like us to use.
We’ll help you work out what belongs where, but having the content ready is what lets us keep to the timeline.
We take care to preserve what the existing site has already earned.
That means mapping old URLs to the new site, putting redirects in place, keeping important page information intact, and submitting the new sitemap through Search Console. Rankings can never be guaranteed, but a rebuild shouldn’t throw away useful search value unnecessarily.
We help shape the structure, headlines and key wording from what you give us, but full copywriting isn’t included in the standard packages.
If you need the entire site written from scratch, we can scope that separately.

If the project needs more pages, unusual functionality or a custom integration, we’ll scope it properly and give you a fixed price before anything is built.
